Prospects for Sports Day 2026

Originally written on 28th May 2025.  For the year 2026, the management will try to arm Homerun with the necessary skills. The main aim of the management is to defeat Bullseye at all costs. Given the victory of Touchdown in 2024, and Slamdunk last February, the management is determined to lengthen the duration of Bullseye's loss. The maximum loss for Bullseye in both situations is 2 years. Those bigwigs in the top management want to extend it to 3 years.  The management will want to cancel off the Founder's Run as a competitive event altogether starting from 2026. They had already scrapped off Nobel Cup back in 2024 and now they are undoing it with the Founder's Run. While the management is studying the prospect of putting back scores for Founder's Run, some die-hard anti-Bullseye activists want to narrow down the amount of Sports Day events. They want to divide the points 50-50: 50% of points come from the judging events and 50% from the athletics events. The managemen...

To all concerned Bullseye members.....

To all concerned Bullseye members: Good morning, good afternoon and good evening. In the last two Sports Days, Bullseye had been on a downfall. We are getting worse in performance. Our overall ranking was first place from 2019 to 2023, and it has started to drop, notably to third place in the 20th Anniversary Sports Day in 2024, and also the 2025 Sports Day this year. Some Bullseye members had raised concerns that Touchdown and Slamdunk have much better athletes than Bullseye. They fear that Bullseye will be disadvantaged in future Sports Days. I hear your concern. And I am here to present solutions to help you navigate the future. In order for Bullseye to win Sports Day 2026, one aspect is training. Training is very important. During Sports Day in 2024 and 2025, I saw the Bullseye athletes not being able to perform well. Hence, the main issue is performance. This can be clearly overcome by training. Training is the heartbeat of Bullseye because only with proper and adequate trai...

Proposal for Bullseye to win both Elementary and Junior/Senior School Sports Day in 2026

This proposal can only be carried out if the school decides to agree on having a joint Sports Day like in 2025.  The plan involves Bullseye winning both the Elementary School's Sports Day and the Junior and Senior School's Sports Day. There had been no such feat in history where both the Elementary School and Junior/Senior School's Sports Day is won by the same house. This had never been done before.  While every Sports Day had been mainly dominated by tens of thousands of Bullseye victories, the Elementary School's champion house keeps on rotating year upon year. This is why you'll never see Elementary School teachers protesting the Sports Day results.  This proposal was made by Tan Jun Ee, an alumni of Nobel International School, who suggested this and expressed confidence of Bullseye's potential.  This proposal will be the greatest proposal in the history of Nobel International School if executed, given the stature and grandeur of the scale of it. It will ne...

Proposed format of Sports Day 2026

After the 20th Anniversary Sports Day and the UNLEASH - Sports Day 2025, the Management is considering discussions for the 2026 Sports Day.  DATE OF SPORTS DAY 10TH APRIL 2026 - FULL STOP! The Management will hold the Sports Day on 10th April 2026. This is in par due to parent complaints that the Sports Day is too early and too rushed (28th February 2025). The Management themselves  The Management has decided April 2026 for Sports Day 2026, although they are open to putting the Sports Day in June or July 2026. April 2026 is considered a perfect time because Hari Raya has moved to March 20.  In 2022, 2023 and 2024, the Management had designated the month of June for the Sports Events. However, in 2025, the Management considered two options: March/April and June/July. The Management were divided; Ms Praveen and the CCA Department vouched for a June/July timeframe while the top Management led by Mr Chan Lik Hoong were in favor of March/April. Being advised by Puan Halimah no...

Why Bullseye Cannot Win Sports Day 2024 and 2025

Tldr: The Management is responsible, as they do not want Bullseye winning too many times.  Bullseye, the Sports House in Nobel International School, had won so many Sports Days, Nobel Cups and Founder's Runs. Since 2014, Bullseye has made victory a habit, causing alarm among the management. The Management had begun a quest beginning with Nobel Cup 2016 and Sports Day 2017 to crack down on Bullseye's expansionist victories and put a stop to the flames of victory fanned by Bullseye members.  Nobel International School has 3 main events since its founding:  Nobel Cup, founded in 2013 as a Student Council-led initiative, focusing on team sports; Founder's Run, a cross country charity race started in 2016; Sports Day, beginning with the first edition in 2006.  The victories of Bullseye are as follows: Sports Day: 2014, 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023. Founder's Run: 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025. Nobel Cup: 2014, 2015, 2017, 2018, 2022, 202...
