Potential alternative date being considered by the Management.

As part of efforts to plan the 2026 Sports Day, the Management is planning the dates for Sports Day 2026. Provisionally, Sports Day will take place after Founder's Run as per our prediction, with Sports Day occurring on 10TH APRIL 2026, and Founder's Run on 6TH or 7TH FEBRUARY 2026. Both dates had been sent to the Year 10 students in a consignment package before the PTM 2.

The Management team, at this moment, is planning for the Year 11 Graduation Ceremony at the Majestic Hotel on 18th November. However, regarding the Sports Day date, by mid December, we expect the date to be finalized. The Management in my current forecast, is planning to have a carbon copy of 2025's date to keep Bullseye at bay. The team is split on when to hold Sports Day. Should this be realized, Sports Day will come first, occurring on 13TH FEBRUARY 2026, just before Chinese New Year 2026. The Founder's Run, meanwhile, will take place on 3RD/4TH APRIL 2026 or 10TH/11TH APRIL 2026.

At the same time, another plan is to put the Sports Day on 3RD JULY 2026 with the Founder's Run date on 2ND APRIL or 17TH APRIL.

Feedback from parents regarding the date of Sports Day.

Parents in particular had given their feedback during the Parent Teacher Meeting on Friday, 7th November. In general, both parents and students do not wish for the Sports Day to be held too early following the 2025 Sports Day on 28th February. The parents want the Sports Day to be held later to allow for more preparations for Sports Day. The parents are suggesting the 2024 schedule to be reinstated for Sports Day. The 2024 schedule had Sports Day on 2nd July 2024 and Founder's Run on 27th April 2024.

The Management has responded to the parents that the main intention of holding the Sports Day early is to avoid interfering with the IGCSE examinations, since the 20th Anniversary Sports Day in 2024 clashed with the preparations for IGCSE. At the same time, holding the Sports Day in March or April might be unfair to Muslim athletes during the fasting month of Ramadan. This was what decided the date for the 2025 Sports Day.

Factors regarding the planning and preparation of the 2026 Sports Day.

The Management wants to combine the Elementary and Junior/Senior School's Sports Day for the year 2026 in order to reduce costs and improve experience for the Sports Day. The Sports and Recreation Department, in order to achieve a smooth combination of the Sports Day, will plan to re-book the Bukit Jalil National Stadium for the Sports Day, as Panasonic Stadium Shah Alam is unable to hold a large amount of spectators and students for the Sports Day. Hence, Bukit Jalil would be preferred. If the stadium is unavailable for booking, Nobel plans to restore Panasonic Stadium as the official venue or move the Sports Day to the Kelana Jaya Stadium, near Paradigm Mall.

It is unclear whether Bukit Jalil Stadium would be preferred this year, but the Management is trying to book the stadium in advance for the Sports Day. Preparations for 2026 had begun way in advance, in May 2025. As Bukit Jalil National Stadium is a very prominent venue for events, the stadium would be full of bookings and that the school must book the stadium in advance to avoid potential problems.

Strategy to put the dates.

The management's decisive factor for the dates is the IGCSE events. However, the Management Team really hates Bullseye, as the team had won so many Sports Days in the past. The Management's account of Bullseye's countless wins had irked them and many of the other sports houses in Nobel who had long complained of Bullseye for years. The management plans to quell the Bullseye victories under control by changing the format of Sports Day. This was because Bullseye had won almost every Sports Day since 2014, except for 2017, 2018, 2024 and 2025. The Management is fearful of Bullseye rising again in 2026. Hence, in order to stop the Management, Bullseye members must be vigilant, be determined, united, trust one another, and make the efforts in order to Stop the Steal, Save Bullseye.
